Composition of paper plastic packaging:

The paper plastic packaging bag is generally composed of two sides, one side is the paper that passes through and discharges sterilization factors, and teweiqiang paper or dialysis paper are common. The other side is composed of transparent composite film (plastic film) or hard plastic tray that cannot penetrate liquid, air and gas. The exchange of disinfection factors is carried out on one side of the paper. Due to the material, it also has a good microbial barrier function, and the plastic surface is visible to the items in the package, so that the packaging items are clear at a glance and have good impermeability.

Precautions for the use of paper plastic packaging:

1. when using sealing machine for paper plastic packaging, it is closely related to time, pressure and temperature. In case of batch sealing, sealing verification shall be carried out first. For example, for the heat sealing of teweiqiang paper and medical plastic tray, note that the sealing edge of the plastic tray should be reserved in the design stage, and the sealing width of the plastic box should be ≥ 6mm. The sealing must be continuous, flat and free of wrinkles, bubbles or leakage.

2. check the cleanliness and dryness of the packed items during packaging.

3. pay attention to the packaging and protect the sharp parts of the instrument to prevent the instrument from puncturing the paper and plastic packaging, resulting in sterilization failure;

5. if EO sterilization is adopted, the sterilization channel shall be reserved on the package. To facilitate EO gas penetration and ensure sterilization quality;

6. the tear position shall be clearly marked on the package to facilitate clean stripping by medical staff and reduce the risk of contamination when opening.

7. before clinical use of the sterilized package, observe whether the indicator color of the corresponding sterilization method process changes to the reference color. If there are burst bags, perforations and wet packages, they are deemed to be contaminated and must be reprocessed;

8. storage environment: room temperature 15-25 ℃, relative humidity 30%-60%. Sterile paper plastic packaging shall be placed on sterile shelves 20cm from the ground, 5cm from the wall and 50cm from the ceiling. Prevent the package from being damp or damaged due to too high or too low temperature.
